Testimonials - Richard Lane
As a chiropractor I understand the numerous benefits to my health, wellness, posture, circulation, lymphatic flow, flexibility, pain levels & emotions that regular massage can bring. That's why I incorporate regular remedial massage in my personal wellness regime & also strongly encourage my patients not to miss out & do likewise.
During my career I have come to know & have used many massage practitioners over the 15 years that I have
been a chiropractor & can clearly state that I have found Richard Lane to be undisputedly one of
the best in the field. His manner is not only superbly thorough but he is also deeply intuitive & in tune
with what my body needs. He has mastered using just the right pressure, touch & technique to get the job done without
ever making me feel uncomfortable. I believe this unique ability to be an innate gift that very few possess
which can only “sometimes” be matched with years of experience!
When I see Richard I can relax, knowing & feeling that I am always in good hands. He
is always genuinely concerned & focused on his clients ......... that’s why he is my massage therapist!

I had a pregnancy massage with Richard and it was honestly the best one I have received. Most therapists who give pregnancy massages tend to only give you a relaxation massage and don't exert enough pressure to relieve your aches and pains. After Richard's massage all my knots and tension spots were released and I could have slept blissfully for hours after! My husband also had a remedial/sports massage which he said was just as good. Richard is very professional and great at what he does.

Richard is a very good, professional massage therapist. I have a previous back injury that requires my massage therapist to have stong hands - Richard is the best that I have found in 14 years!

Deep Tissue Massage - A convert writes
I start my week with a massage. For me it's one of the best ways to deal with stress, tension headaches and the aches and pains from spending too much time in front of the computer. While I'm a firm believer in the benefits of remedial massage to relieve muscle tension, pain and stress, I'm now a convert to the advantages of Richard's Deep Tissue massage as well. In my experience Deep Tissue massage isn't as 'relaxing' as remedial massage - it's a bit more interactive during the session and the physical sensations can be a little more intense. The relaxation comes after you walk out the door, when you realise the muscle tension is gone, you can move your head from side to side without pain and you're standing an inch taller!. After just one session I was amazed at how much looser and flexible my body felt. For chronic lower back pain I really recommend giving Richard's Deep Tissue massage a try!. (nb Deep Tissue also very effective for sore necks, shoulders, etc….)
Over the past few months I've been alternating between the two styles, enjoying and benefiting from both. If you have the time and want to feel totally rejuvenated, try a Deep Tissue massage followed immediately by a Remedial massage. 2 hours of bliss - just make sure you don't have anything too strenuous to do for the rest of the day!

I'm used to paying quite a bit of money to go to fancy day spas for my massages. After
a very bad experience at a leading day spa near the city, I tried Richard's deep tissue massage. Absolutely
exceptional - he is very intuitive and results oriented. The rooms are nothing fancy, quite the opposite in fact, but
if what you want is to walk out with your muscles feeling like liquid, Richard's your guy! I would recommend him without
hesitation.

I was apprehensive when I made my first appointment for a massage, due probably to previous painful experiences with Trigger Point Therapy (which I understand to be a form of massage which involves unblocking knotted connective tissues). But the articles Richard had posted about Trigger Point Therapy got me interested to give it another go. What also helped was the numerous positive testimonials others here have made about how they had benefitted from treatment by Richard.
I am so very thankful that even in the first session, Richard managed to unblock the problematic knots down my back, neck, shoulders and even legs. He truly has a the gift of gauging a person's pain threshold so as to orientate the person to accept the optimum level of pressure for unblocking the 'trigger points', without using sudden force at each one of the points. I also found my fear and tension progressively released, as he approached each 'trigger point' patiently, systematically and thoroughly.
At the end of the session, I felt a tremendous sense of new found freedom from tension and pain. And this has even lasted for a couple of weeks! Thank you very much, Richard.

Testimonials are normally not my thing, however yesterday
afternoon I recieved a deep tissue massage from Verity Keogh. I took this
option as a recommendation from my long term chiropracit practitioner Les
Carroll.
I can honestly say that my back in general and lumbar region in particular
have not felt this well and pain free for years.
i have just made another appointment and can assure you that i will be
coming back as a regular - highly recommended.
