Bear Cottage Fundraiser

In the wake of the devastation of the Asian Tsunami, there is some concern that local charities may be affected. Richard has had ties with Bear Cottage, an initiative of The Children's Hospital Westmead, for a few years and will be holding a fundraising event to benefit Bear Cottage on Sunday, May 22nd at Maroubra. Bear Cottage is NSW's only children's hospice, located on the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, Manly in Sydney. The hospice provides temporary respite, end-of-life care and bereavement support to children with life limiting illnesses and their families. Bear Cottage was established through the generosity of the community. Its $1.5 million annual budget continues to be supported by donations. On Sunday 22nd May, Richard is offering massages at Maroubra Dynamic Physiotherapy for which there is no charge! However (& as usual there is always a however), you will be asked to take a sponsorship form so that you can give a donation to Bear Cottage commensurate with the value of the massage you receive.
